Gardner Point Phases 5, 6 and 7 setback table amendment
Approved with conditions · 4-1
Applicant representative Brandon Watts asked to change the setback table to match the Exchange Subdivision, which he said allows more variety in homes. Struthers said driveway parking room remains adequate, the front living space footprint can sit closer to the sidewalk, and the change applies only to single-family homes. Council members raised concern about driveway length. Struthers said a misunderstanding at the Development Review Committee meeting meant two comments from Power and Water could be struck. The motion was amended at Council Member Paul Hancock's suggestion to note that the two reviewers confirmed they were fine withdrawing the comments. Council Member Katie Koivisto voted no.
