How we write stories

Our news stories are written by AI. Every hour we check the public feeds of Utah newsrooms, agencies and teams. For each new report about Utah, an AI model writes a short story in its own words using only the facts in that report, then names the outlet and links to it. The original outlet has the full story, and we send you there for it.

When several outlets report the same thing, we add each of their reports to the story's sources. Every paragraph is numbered back to the source it came from.
