Jonathan Bankhead, for the applicant, said this code amendment to Chapter 28 changes the allowed percentages of resort, residential and commercial uses and is a step before the final area plan amendment. Members discussed the commercial percentages and the difference between office and retail and considered tabling to set more specific figures, then decided to proceed and anticipate a second amendment with the area plan that splits commercial into retail and office. The council approved it.
