The council accepted Jordan Valley Construction's bid of $291,038 to build a roundabout at the Art Dye Park entrance at about 550 East, plus parking lot improvements. Sensanbaugher said the design adds pedestrian refuges, a "Danish offset" crossing and flared entry angles to slow drivers and keep them off the center truck apron; construction was to start immediately and run through late winter or early spring, without cutting off park access. Council Member Shelton asked for more pedestrian safety work in the parking lot in a later phase.
