700 West extension
The city plans to extend 700 West between 620 South and 800 South, partly on land it is getting from UDOT in a parcel exchange at about 700 West 620 South. The council adopted a resolution of intent on Jan. 27, 2026, which Councilmember Ernie John said secures the connector corridor, access through Lakeshore Drive and the Fire Station 53 site; the Utah Transportation Commission approved it Feb. 20, 2026. In return the city gives UDOT land along a possible future limited-access east-west highway (the Vineyard Connector alternative from 1900 South in Lehi to I-15 along the power line). A later cooperative agreement says 900 West would never get a signal at that highway and could be restricted or closed as it widens, while the 700 West extension would get a signal. On March 24, 2026, the council declared city land near 700 West 900 South surplus for transfer to UDOT. At the February 2026 budget retreat staff listed a MAG funding request of about $5.05 million to build 700 West from the Pony Express Parkway north to 200 South as a TOD major arterial.

Harbor Road Annexation Plat E (Ordinance 2022-08-35)
Approved with conditions · 4-0
Annexed about 91.7 acres into PR-3.0 and Shoreline Protection zones with an annexation agreement. The land use designation had recently been raised from very low to low density residential. Owners (represented by Ross Welch of PHI Properties; Woodside Homes is the builder) objected to conveying the Vineyard Connector corridor; the approved motion eliminated that conveyance, limited conveyance to a linear park under a power corridor while preserving open space, and kept three minor collectors including Lakeshore Boulevard and a north-south connector whose alignment can shift.
- Acres: 91.7
- Zones: PR-3.0 and Shoreline Protection
- Owners' representative: Ross Welch, PHI Properties Inc.
- Builder: Woodside Homes (Matt Loveland, Ginger Romriell)
- Vineyard Connector corridor retained by owners for future UDOT purchase
