1156 E. 300 North general plan amendment and rezone to professional office
Approved · 5-0
The council approved Resolution 2020-12-35R changing the land-use designation at 1156 E. 300 North from low density residential to professional office, and Ordinance 2020-12-59 rezoning it from R1-15,000 to PO-1. The site is north of medical offices near the hospital; the Planning Commission recommended both unanimously on Dec. 2. Senior Planner Adam Olsen said the commission expects all four corners of 1100 East and 300 North to become offices but will hold the line on the north side of 300 North. Council Member Shelton said nearby homes were being surrounded by commercial uses and the neighborhood should be told.
