SR-92 / Center Street pedestrian bridge

Lehi is pushing for a pedestrian bridge over SR-92 at Center Street after a truck hit a 15-year-old Skyridge High student in the crosswalk on Sept. 9, 2026. UDOT estimates the bridge at $8-9 million; the city says it has secured about half the funding and is waiting on UDOT for the rest, and UDOT ranks it among its top three regional priorities but has set no timeline. The item was on a council work-session agenda as early as March 9, 2026. Lehi's FY2026 budget also lists a 'Center Street & SR 92' road-impact-fee project ($400,000 this year of $850,000).

Timpanogos Highway (SR-92) pedestrian bridge update

    Discussed

The Planning Department was scheduled to update the council on the pedestrian bridge over SR-92.

  2. July 22, 2025 · City Council

UDOT master agreement for utility work on the 2100 North project (Resolution 2025-50)

    Approved · 5-0

Kenison said the agreement sets design criteria for city utilities within UDOT's project. UDOT's Matt Parker said the current work ends east of Redwood Road in early spring, when the 2100 North project begins; proposals are due just after Labor Day. He said a Pioneer Crossing contractor starts in about a month with completion by the end of next summer. A pedestrian bridge over SR-92 is a standalone project with an estimated cost of $7 million, for which alternative funding is sought.
