Meadow View Ranch (App #2) land use map amendment, about 800 South 100 East

    Approved · 4-1

Changed about 25.37 acres (county address 7058 N. 5750 W.) from Residential Low Density to Residential Medium Density ahead of annexation; staff recommended R1-7500 to R1-6000 zoning (about 5-6 units per acre), with small single-family lots and townhomes next to industrial land, across from a planned 30-acre park. The application was split from an adjoining higher-density request. Hunter opposed changing master-planned densities and the neighboring owner's wish to transfer density from the TOD; Carroll and John wanted the same layout on adjacent land.

Buckwalter Meadow View Ranch annexation petition, 66.36 acres at 1000 South 100 East

    Denied · 5-0

Development Services Director Patrick O'Brien said the petition is legally sound but would split an existing unincorporated island in south American Fork into two; staff preferred adding land to the east (owned by PRI, which wants to annex later). The council denied the petition so it can be refiled with more land in one annexation agreement; Hunter said the denial is not meant to block the project and suggested waiving refiling fees.

Buckwalter Meadow View Ranch 2 Annexation petition, 1000 S. 100 East (96.4 acres)

    Approved · 4-0

Accepted for review a refiled petition to annex about 96.41 acres. O'Brien said an earlier version was denied because it would have left an unincorporated island; this one includes all the unincorporated land. The annexation agreement comes later.
