126 N. Grant Ave. land use amendment and rezone to CC-1

    Approved · 5-0

Resolution 2020-08-21R changed the land use from High Density Residential to General Commercial and Ordinance 2020-08-41 rezoned the lot from R4-7500 to CC-1 so the owner, whose adjoining properties (a landscaping business and storage units) are already CC-1, has one zone; the old home was torn down and there is no development plan. Shelton worried about commercial creep north toward 200 North and the lack of setbacks in CC-1, preferring CC-2. Olsen said new storage units are not allowed in CC-1.
