Minutes for this meeting were not available; the vote count is not known.

Planning commissioners review scaled-back general plan and code rewrite, debate wider side-yard setbacks
Development Services Director Patrick O'Brien told the American Fork Planning Commission that the city, after a crowded February hearing, had 'rewound' many proposed general plan, zoning and code changes and now mostly aims to match land use maps to what is already built. Commissioners debated a proposal to widen minimum side setbacks on residential lots from 18 to 22 feet combined, suggesting 8 and 12 feet instead, and supported allowing gyms and similar uses in the PI-1 industrial zone as conditional uses. Staff said the PO-1 professional office area along 300 North would be 'squared off.'

Dozens of residents push back on citywide rezoning, code rewrite and general plan at planning commission hearing
More than 40 people spoke during three public hearings on American Fork's proposed rewrite of its development code (Titles 15 and 17), new general plan and new citywide zoning map, a meeting that ran until nearly 9 p.m. Speakers objected to folding R1-9000 neighborhoods into R1-7500, shrinking RA-1 agricultural zoning, rezoning farmland north of the cemetery to Public Facilities, Shoreline Protection zoning on private land near the Boat Harbor, a 36-foot height cap on industrial buildings, and turning homes on 300 North into professional office. Council and planning commission members say they don't want more density as code rewrite draws fire
In a joint work session with the American Fork City Council the night before a large public hearing, council members Ryan Hunter, Clark Taylor and Staci Carroll said they had no desire to add density beyond what is already approved, and staff acknowledged that folding R1-9000 lots into the R1-7500 zone looked to residents like an upzone.
