Chipman and Stake Center annexation zoning up for hearing

March 18, 2026, 6:30 p.m. · American Fork City Hall, 31 N. Church St.

The only hearing on the American Fork Planning Commission's agenda was the proposed PR-3.0 planned residential zoning for the roughly 24-acre Chipman and Stake Center annexation near 100 W. 700 South, which includes Chipman family land, a proposed Latter-day Saint meetinghouse, city property and an extension of 700 South. Staff recommended approval. Minutes of this meeting have not been posted separately (the April 22 packet that contains them is too large to retrieve); the commission held a new hearing on the annexation Aug. 19, 2026, and recommended it 7-0.
