Discussed
The proposal is 6.3 acres at the southwest corner of Porters Crossing Parkway and Pony Express Parkway with Cascade Collision Auto Repair on Lot 1, including an 8-foot fence around the enclosed parking area. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval with conditions. Applicants set a 15-foot minimum setback from Tickville Wash, with the fence and retaining wall at least 20 feet from the wash's top edge. The city attorney said the setback is left to council discretion; Council Member Love raised slope concerns.

Approved with conditions · 5-0
The 6.3-acre project at Pony Express Parkway and Porter's Crossing Parkway has Cascade Collision Auto Repair on Lot 1. The closest parking setback to the wash is 21.9 feet. Council Member Gray raised concerns about upward and downward lighting; applicants said the sconces are low-lumen and under an awning. Nine conditions include deeding land north of the wash to the city, revising the plat, lighting code compliance, a full-property landscape plan and traffic study, approval of the Lot 1 site plan, and an eight-foot solid privacy gate and fence around the enclosed parking.
