Brylee Farms alternate fencing request
Approved · 3-1
Fieldstone Homes asked to use vinyl faux wood-grain fencing, or as a second choice Bufftech Sherwood composite, along Aviator Avenue and Eagle Mountain Boulevard instead of the standard Ranches-style cedar. A motion for the vinyl option died for lack of a second. Council Member Burnham then moved the composite option, which passed. Council Member Gray favored tabling until fencing standards are updated, wanted masonry on major roads and said he would not allow vinyl on the busiest road in the city. Council Member Curtis noted cedar could be installed if the request were tabled. Council Member Clark raised buyer cost and repair matching. Council Member Love was not yet present.
