Discussed
Public Works Director Sam Kelly said restriping 900 West to keep 26 feet clear for fire trucks would remove 35 stalls; options include alternating on-street parking, 28 stalls in open-space parcels (about $114,000) or 134 stalls ($402,000). The parcels are HOA open space over a TSSD easement, not city-owned. City Administrator David Bunker proposed barring future developments from charging residents for on-site parking and floated a small park on 620 South. Kelly planned microsurfacing this fall and chip seal in spring. The mayor said funding would come in next year's budget unless the council amends it.
