860 East road improvements contract to Kilgore Contracting

    Approved with conditions · 5-0

Accepted Kilgore's bid to repave the middle section of 860 East on the east side of the Price property (Egg Farm EDA), contingent on the mayor asking the western landowner, Price, to improve its side at the same time. Shelton worried about three asphalt seams; staff said the owner rarely returned calls, the ditch, power poles and right-of-way are on private land, and bid prices are held only 30 days. RDA funds must be spent within ten years.
