UAMPS Fremont Solar and Battery Storage Project

    Discussed

Power Director Joel Eves described a 49.5-megawatt solar facility with 198 megawatt-hours of battery storage whose cost is close to Lehi's blended wholesale rate. The power purchase agreement means the city pays only for energy delivered. Timing allows use of investment tax incentives that expire in July 2026. The council planned to consider approval in October.
