The Good and the Beautiful general plan amendment, 9 acres (Ordinance 68-2022)

    Withdrawn

Daniel and Jenny Phillips, representing the educational publishing company, said the building would have supply space in back and retail and a recital hall available to the public at an affordable rate in front. Tony Trane, also representing the applicant, said a development agreement had been discussed and they were open to it. The council liked the concept but worried about unintended future consequences of the proposed land use, and preferred keeping the general plan designation while being open to a development agreement. Trane then withdrew the application, saying they would work with staff on a development agreement when the zone change comes forward.
