    Approved · 5-0

The council awarded Eagle Mountain Boulevard widening design (two lanes to five from the Pony Express Parkway roundabout to Desert Willow Drive) to CRS Engineers, top-ranked of seven proposals (amount not stated), and 3D scanning of 1,100 manholes to RH Borden for $99,550. It approved Change Order 1 with Hydro International for the headworks grit classifier: a price increase of $18,001.20, an added tray of $7,890, with the city paying $5,800 up front and the contractor paying the rest of the increase during installation. It also approved the Antelope Meadows amended plat (ten lots on a former church site, minimum frontage 69 feet against 80), the Skyline Ridge Phase 2 Plat 6 amended plat, the Eagle Point Townhomes pool and clubhouse and Fire Station 251 site plans, and plat warranty actions.

Wride Memorial Park Phase 2 by Kenny Seng Construction; bond releases for Eagle Point Phase J Plat 1 and The Towns at Brylee Farms Phase B Plat 1; and a resolution naming Fire Station 251 the Sweetwater Fire Station. The minutes give no dollar amounts.

Fire station impact fee waiver, Sweetwater Fire Station and Fire Station 253

    Approved · 5-0

City Administrator Paul Jerome said the Unified Fire Authority had granted Millcreek City's waiver request for its city hall and that Eagle Mountain was asking for reciprocal waivers for new fire stations; it is the authority's first such request from Eagle Mountain. The item was pulled from the consent agenda so staff could check whether other UFSA cities waive the fees. The council approved the resolution.
