Harrison Boulevard OGX Station Area Plan

    Discussed

Consultants from Logan Simpson presented a plan covering the five Ogden Express bus rapid transit stations on Harrison Boulevard and the Weber State campus (32nd Street, 36th Street, Weber Central, Wildcat Village and the Dee Events Center), prepared for state certification under the 2022 station area planning law (quarter-mile area). The Planning Commission recommended approval 8-1 on Aug. 6, 2025. Council discussion covered why not all stops were studied, land use impacts, affordable housing requirements, crossing and bike safety, trails, waterwise landscaping and high-density housing at Weber State. Action is scheduled for Nov. 18.
