    Discussed

State law (SB 110 of 2022) requires every city to adopt this element by Dec. 31, 2025; it was drafted as part of the Plan Ogden general plan rewrite, and the Planning Commission recommended approval Oct. 1. Delaney Sillman of Logan Simpson said current use is about 184 gallons per person per day and projected 2050 demand of about 21.7 million gallons per day is about 50 percent of available supply. The council asked about indoor versus outdoor use and penalties for missing the deadline. A vote is planned for Dec. 16. Council Member Dave Graf reported on the condition of the Great Salt Lake.
