Taylor Meadows general plan amendment (Ordinance #62-2020)

    Denied · 3-2

The council denied changing about 18 acres from VLDRA (very low density residential agriculture) to VLDR (very low density residential). Applicant Daniel Herzog said there would be eight half-acre lots and possibly more; the Planning Commission had initially recommended denial and a PUD could not be approved that night. Council Member Koivisto moved denial, finding detrimental effects. Council Member Condie said he did not see it as detrimental, saw it as in character, and noted three surrounding sides are already VLDR. Council Member Southwick also voted against denial.

    • Acres: about 18
    • Designation: VLDRA to VLDR
    • Planning Commission: initially recommended denial

Moved by Council Member Koivisto, seconded by Council Member Albrecht. Vote: 3-2 to deny; Council Members Chris Condie and Mike Southwick voted against the motion to deny
