Agenda, item by item

  1. Item 2.1 · Public safety

Review of 911 service providers and interfacility transport

    Discussed

Fire Chief Jeremy Craft presented the report required by Senate Bill 215, which calls for local presentations and documentation every four years when licenses are renewed. He said the true cost of EMS is hard to separate from overall fire department costs, that Lehi has a high EMS billing collection rate, and that mutual aid agreements with neighboring departments provide coverage.

  2. Item 4.3 · Annexation

    Re-approval of the Hadco-Pacific annexation (Ordinance 41-2025)

  4. Item 6 · General plan

Traverse Mountain Area Plan amendment for food and beverage manufacturing (Ordinance 42-2025)

Approved with conditions · 5-0 · South of Cabela's Boulevard, east of North Frontage Road, west of Triumph Boulevard, north of SR-92

Michael Lasson of Salisbury Developers, representing the applicant, said the goal is to bottle beverages for sale off site. Council members clarified that the amendment would allow beverage manufacturing and export, not just on-site brewing, and discussed limiting the scope and location. One resident urged the council to consider how manufacturing could affect the character of the popular area. The council approved it as a permitted use limited to packaging or processing of food and beverage products (clarified to beverage bottling) in the area south of Cabela's Boulevard, east of North Frontage Road/Murdock Canal Trail, west of Triumph Boulevard and north of SR-92. Applicants elsewhere in the area plan could ask for similar treatment.

    • Use: beverage bottling as a permitted use, limited area
