Sunset Flats alternative fencing
Approved with conditions · 5-0
The council approved an alternative vinyl fence for Sunset Flats that is substantially consistent aesthetically with, and as strong or stronger than, the Silverlake South fencing, as determined by staff. Applicant Susan Palmer requested honey maple vinyl. Council Member Colby Curtis preferred the Silverlake chai gray, which blends with The Ranches fences; Council Member Jared Gray would support gray for consistency; Council Member Carolyn Love favored gray for citywide continuity. Council Member Donna Burnham then proposed directing staff to bring fencing code amendments quickly, rather than a broad hold on applications.
