Release of a permanent sanitary sewer easement, retention of temporary easement
Approved · 5-0
City Attorney Marcus Draper said the easement runs from the Tyson plant to a lift station on land Oquirrh Wood Ranch plans to sell to Tract. Oquirrh Wood Ranch plans a gravity sewer line in the Pole Canyon Boulevard right-of-way to the treatment plant, eliminating the lift station, and Public Works supports it. Council Member Jared Gray disclosed unrelated business dealings with the owners outside Utah County; Draper reviewed city code and said recusal was not required. No one spoke.

Boundary adjustment, Cedar Fort to Eagle Mountain (intent resolution)
Approved · 5-0
City Attorney Marcus Draper and applicant representative Chase Andrizzi of Oquirrh Wood Ranch LLC presented a request to move 120 acres on two parcels directly west of the Tyson plant from Cedar Fort. Both municipalities must adopt intent resolutions, hold hearings at least 60 days later and adopt ordinances before it is final. If annexed, the parcels could join the Firefly agreement; the developer intends industrial or commercial use, and residential use would require amending the agreement.
