Blalock and Partners hired to design Fire Station 52 for $278,450; council tables Lake City Row parking deal

April 14, 2020, 7:00 p.m. · Held electronically (COVID-19 emergency)

The council hired Blalock and Partners for $278,450 to design Fire Station 52 after staff scored seven proposals, and tabled a memorandum of understanding allowing reduced parking at Lake City Row until a work session, with Clark Taylor and Barbara Christiansen skeptical that reduced parking ever works. It also accepted a watershed agreement for American Fork River rehabilitation studies and approved a UDOT signal and access agreement on 500 East.
