Owners of homes on the west side of 400 West asked the city to reverse a zoning change made about three years ago. All owners but one, who also owns the commercial land to the south and west, signed letters of request. A February 9 neighborhood meeting drew about 30 residents who favored the rezone. Four speakers backed the R8 rezone but asked the council to pause it and have staff open an application to review zoning across the whole North Village District. After discussion about what was proposed and whether an application was already in progress, the council continued the item to April 27.
