Council eases landscaping rules inside industrial sites

October 10, 2023, 7:00 p.m. · American Fork City Hall, 31 N. Church St.

In a 20-minute meeting, the council changed industrial-zone landscaping rules so large-truck sites can focus landscaping on screening from public streets rather than planting interior islands, a change staff initiated with a developer whose project would not work under current rules. It also updated standard water and pressurized irrigation tap details, approved the Hill-Pryor amended plat and made board appointments.
