Council annexes 26-acre North Bench parcel into TOD, sends downtown design rules back for rework

August 10, 2021, 7:00 p.m. · American Fork City Hall, 31 N. Church St.

The American Fork City Council annexed 26.02 acres at 800 West 500 South into the transit-oriented development zone and approved final plats for Stonecreek Plat G, the Walton townhomes on Quality Drive and a third-phase Roderick Enterprises industrial site plan. It unanimously denied a draft of downtown CC-1 design provisions, asking for fewer required building materials and clearer window rules, and adopted a revised procurement policy.
