Upper Main Street improvements construction agreement

    Approved · 5-0

Construction is expected to start in June, with Main Street reduced to one lane with alternating traffic and the trolley continuing. Two residents opposed, one saying only three of nine adjacent owners had spoken with staff. Lighting is not included but conduits will be installed.

Stanley Consultants addendum for Upper Main Street improvements

    Approved · 3-0-1

Adds scope to the design agreement. Phase two, the Main and Swede Alley intersection, is delayed for lack of community consensus; the city manager said the project was reduced by 20 percent. Rubell wanted total project costs shown rather than piecemeal figures and abstained, with no reason recorded. Staff will give a six-month capital transportation update on June 22.
