Provo Airport apron expansion
Provo Airport widened its terminal apron, the paved area where planes park and passengers board. The project's funding went to the council in a Jan. 14, 2025 work session, and the airport director told the council on April 14, 2026 that construction of the terminal apron was complete. At the same meeting he said the airport was effectively full at its five gates during peak periods and that current work could bring it to eight. The apron is a separate project from the terminal expansion that would add the gates themselves.
