The council temporarily stopped accepting land use applications to rezone property to the TOD zone. Mayor Mark Johnson said the pause prevents a decision on a TOD application until the city has a state commitment on extending light rail through Lehi. The owner of the Utah Refractories plant wrote that the plant will stop production in about 60 days, is under contract to sell, and that halting TOD designation would create a problem for the site's redevelopment and the city.
