Ordinance 67-2024: connectivity standards exception for vehicular safety (Chapter 37)

    Approved with conditions · 4-0

Rick Magnus of AWA Engineering said the exception relates to a new grocery store, where a 5-7 foot grade difference between a stub street and the back of the building and the building's large footprint and power line easements raised safety concerns. The applicant agreed to work with staff on safety and connectivity. Approved with the word "however" removed from paragraph 5A and all Planning Commission and Development Review Committee comments.

Moved by Council Member Chris Condie, seconded by Council Member Heather Newall. Vote: 4-0 with Council Member Paul Hancock absent
