Council keeps residential line at 100 West, denies Lake House industrial request; Shelton opposes bike plan map

March 28, 2023, 7:00 p.m. · American Fork City Hall, 31 N. Church St.

With Mayor Brad Frost absent, the council denied a Lake House Properties request to redesignate 8.15 acres at 6595 N. 6000 West from residential to industrial, holding to 100 West as the line between residential and industrial land, while approving an industrial designation for 4.35 Deer Park acres at 9 W. 1100 South. It accepted the Coleman annexation petition, hired Franson Civil Engineers for $105,000 to design a 100 East water main replacement, and approved an updated bike and pedestrian plan map 4-1 over Rob Shelton's objection.
