Council approves more Rockwell Ranch plats as Shelton presses for 200 South plan

August 25, 2020, 7:00 p.m. · Held electronically (COVID-19 emergency)

The American Fork City Council approved two more phases of the Rockwell Ranch development in the TOD zone, including 40 condominium units, after Council Member Rob Shelton said the city should not keep approving projects along 200 South without a timeline for road improvements; staff said owners there will not sell right-of-way for a trail. The council also widened front-yard utility easements to 10 feet, re-approved a Rocky Mountain Power easement, and tabled the American Fork Apartments plat.
