In review

Pioneer Park

A stormwater detention basin and check dams at Pioneer Park funded mostly through the NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection program on a 75 percent federal, 25 percent city match. The council's Oct. 28, 2026 agenda asked it to ratify a request for $371,666.75 in additional federal funds and a four-month extension to Nov. 5, 2027; the project total is $591,516.40.
