Council reviews legislative bills, calls for stand against Utah Lake Authority

February 1, 2022, 4:03 p.m. · City Administration Office, 51 E. Main St.

American Fork staff briefed the council on 2022 legislative bills, including mandatory secondary water metering by 2030 (estimated at about $12 million locally) and the Utah Lake Authority bill. Councilmembers objected to being left off the lake authority's board and asked for a resolution opposing it. The council then met in closed session on a real property matter.
