Council adopts fiscal 2026 budget at certified tax rate, shifts PARC money to Boat Harbor

June 17, 2025, 6:00 p.m. · American Fork City Hall, 31 N. Church St.

In a special session the council unanimously adopted the fiscal 2026 budget, including a five-year capital improvement plan, and kept the property tax at the county-certified rate with $582,638 budgeted for debt service. It reallocated PARC tax money from Maven Cinema, which lacked nonprofit status, and from an undefined south-side trail to cultural groups, the Steel Days drone show and $68,000 in Boat Harbor amenities, and approved a $331,552 change order for water main work on the Auto Mall Drive extension.
