Council adopts fiscal 2025 budget with no property tax increase, cuts Alpine Community Theater from PARC grants

June 11, 2024, 7:00 p.m. · American Fork City Hall, 31 N. Church St.

The council adopted the fiscal 2025 budget, kept the property tax revenue-neutral at a rate of 0.001537 for about $7.2 million in general fund revenue, and approved a new fee schedule with steeper penalties for unpermitted work. It approved $884,914 in PARC tax grants after removing $14,000 for Alpine Community Theater because it performs outside the city, and hired Franson Civil Engineers to design repairs for 2023 flood damage on Boat Harbor Road and Fox Hollow Golf Course.
