Council approves $772,895 reimbursement to White Horse Developers for AF Crossing roads, adopts moderate-income housing plan

September 27, 2022, 7:00 p.m. · American Fork City Hall, 31 N. Church St.

The American Fork City Council agreed to reimburse White Horse Developers up to $772,894.75 for oversized system improvements on Lakeshore Drive, 620 South, 1000 South, 1100 West and other streets built with AF Crossing. It adopted the state-required moderate-income housing element after Councilmember Rob Shelton's bid to move detached accessory dwelling units up a year died without a second, and approved floodplain, manhole and conservation-subdivision code changes. Fire Chief Aaron Brems reported the city earned an ISO fire rating of 2.
