How minutes work. Minutes are the official record of a meeting. The council approves them at a later meeting, so the newest meetings have only an agenda, or draft minutes, until then. Meetings marked Approved minutes are written from that approved record. Ones marked Agenda only describe what was scheduled; we add the results once the minutes are posted.

Draper council approves Oct. 6 minutes and APC Towers lease amendment on consent agenda, 5-0

The city's official recap says the Draper City Council approved its consent agenda 5-0 on Oct. 20, 2026: the Oct. 6 minutes and Resolution 26-49, which amends and extends the city's agreement with APC Towers. The study session listed a fleet policy discussion and the closed meeting was not held, and the meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m. The recap is not the minutes and gives no individual votes or mover. The packet's draft resolution and lease amendment were unsigned, so the recap does not show a signed lease or settle how the extension term is described.

Draper council approves records-code revision and Planning Commission appointments, 4-0

With Council Member Mike Green excused, the council voted 4-0 to approve Ordinance 1737, revising the government-records chapter of the city code, and approved a five-item consent agenda 4-0. City Recorder Nicole Smedley told the council the existing language duplicated state code and the cleanup would not change city practices; that is the recorder's explanation, not an independent legal conclusion. The consent agenda included Planning Commission appointments and authorization for the mayor to sign a quitclaim deed for property in the Suncrest development, which is not evidence the deed was signed or recorded. The minutes were approved Sept. 15, 2026. This entry covers the council's recorded actions, not the separate Community Reinvestment Agency meeting.
