Workshop: $500,000 incentive for Mill Creek of Logan apartments, 94 West 100 South (Resolution 20-38 RDA)

    Discussed

Developer Paul Willie proposes a six-story, 75-unit apartment building with a possible second phase of 72 units. The Economic Development Committee recommended a $500,000 incentive from the RDA Affordable Housing Fund, payable on completion. Justifications include cleanup of a former gas station site with a 9,500-gallon tank, a steep hillside, structured parking and an adjacent burned-out 1868 mill building. Council Member Jensen praised the project. Construction would take 12 to 14 months.
