400 West improvements and State Street connection
Roundabouts at 200 South and Lakeview Drive, sidewalks for safe routes to school and a new connection to State Street. A $2.8 million MAG grant is not available until 2029, so Lindon fronts the cost and Utah County reimburses it; Lindon's share is about $2.616 million. Council approved the interlocal agreement Oct. 5, 2026.

Resolution 2026-36-R: interlocal agreement with Utah County for 400 West reimbursement
Approved · 4-0
The agreement lets Lindon front the cost of improving 400 West from 200 South to State Street, with roundabouts at 200 South and Lakeview Drive and a new connection to State Street, then be reimbursed by the county. The project won $2.8 million in Mountain Land Association of Governments transportation funds that are not available until 2029; the city's 6.77% match brings its share to about $2.616 million, paid from Road Class C funds and water and sewer project revenue. A separate $1 million UDOT commitment requires the connection through Thornton Park to start by mid-2027.
