Lindon sets borrowing limits of up to $7.4 million for water bonds and separate limits for sewer bonds
The council approved parameters in September for up to $7.4 million in water revenue bonds and up to $3.5 million in new sewer bonds plus $1.7 million to refund existing sewer debt. A council member asked staff to compare borrowing the full water amount at once with borrowing in stages. The bonds had not been sold as of Oct. 16.

Lindon budgets $698,500 in utility fund transfers to its General Fund for 2026–27
Lindon's fiscal 2027 budget moves money from five utility funds to the General Fund. The hearing notice says the transfers are not cost allocations and will not be repaid. A council member asked whether they could be reduced in years with large rate increases; the council took no action.
Lindon adds a monthly sewer treatment facility fee to pay its share of Orem plant upgrades
The council voted 4–0 in August to add a sewer treatment facility fee tied to meter size, estimated at $19.98 a month for a typical 1-inch connection, to cover Lindon's share of upgrades at Orem's wastewater plant. The council adopted the schedule as proposed after staff advised deferring part of the change.
