Discussion covered about $10,800,000 in unallocated general fund money meant for the community center and library, now on hold, and a $15,000 to $20,000 placeholder for a long-term facilities plan consultant. Road topics included Mid Valley Road East and Hidden Valley Parkway, Lone Tree Parkway to Old Airport Road, Old Airport Road to Wride Memorial Highway and the timing of the Mountain View Corridor connection. Members asked for funding to finish a traffic light at Stonebridge Lane and Ranches Parkway this fiscal year, and a light at Woodhaven Boulevard and Pony Express Parkway. Wastewater items were the headworks expansion, described as failing and a priority, Type 1 effluent disposal, rapid infiltration basin rehabilitation and leveling 12 acres north of the old basins. Parks items included adding the Pony Express Regional Trail to the impact fee facilities plan and lights and a concession stand at Pioneer Park. Council Member Jared Gray advocated adding three Utah County Sheriff positions now and a fourth in January. Students from Cedar Valley High School suggested an "EM" mountainside marker.
