At a special meeting on September 12, 2023, the council voted 5-0 to continue to September 14 the Basic 911 service interlocal agreement among Summit County, the Park City Fire District and the city. Basic 911 service interlocal agreement among Summit County, Park City Fire District and Park City Municipal

    Continued · 5-0

Each of the other fire districts receives $1 million; the Park City Fire District receives an additional $1.2 million for paramedic service. Gerber questioned the 20-year term and later favored five years with check-ins; Rubell favored 10 years or 20 with an exit option; Doilney said a shorter term would take considerable time to rework; Toly was uncomfortable deciding so soon. Staff will work with the county to limit the term and add an equal-funding provision, without promising changes.

Moved by Council Member Becca Gerber, seconded by Council Member Max Doilney. Vote: 5-0
