Sky Harbour hangar development briefing (TEFRA hearing)
Discussed
Airport staff said hangars on the east side of the airport would ease inefficiency caused by many small aircraft, and the airport's financial officer described the advantages of partnering with Sky Harbour. A Sky Harbour Group vice president cited revenue to the city with no financial risk, private investment reverting to the city at the end of the ground lease, jobs, quieter newer aircraft and paid aviation internships. Council Member Dugan asked for annual projections of reductions in noise, air pollution and traffic; the company said it would provide them.
