Rezone at 2157 South Lincoln Street

    Approved with conditions · 6-0

The council adopted Ordinance 78 of 2023 rezoning 2157 South Lincoln Street from RB (Residential/Business) to CSHBD2 (Sugar House Business District), subject to a development agreement. The rezone would enable a multi-family project on this and adjacent parcels; the property holds a Victorian home used as an office that would be preserved. The agreement requires the owner to maintain the home's exterior in about its current condition and not materially alter it or change its height, to build sidewalks at least seven feet wide along Lincoln Street, Elm Avenue and 1000 East with street trees reaching 33% vegetation, and runs with the land for 50 years. Puy was absent.
