The House Transportation Subcommittee recommended $3.6 million for Highland Drive pre-design and right-of-way work, with the project estimated at about $30 million. Staff sought approval to demolish structures on city-owned flood-mitigation property at 1770 Holladay Boulevard, and the council supported it with a request for proposals to follow. A City Hall seismic evaluation was estimated at about $1.1 million, with staff expecting under $2 million. About 25% of Holladay households pay more than 30% of income toward housing.
