The Saratoga Springs City Council minutes, as summarized by The Utah Ledger, name Robert Taylor among the members voting no on 1 agenda item. Minutes do not always record each member's vote, so this list does not show how Robert Taylor voted on other items. On a motion to deny, table or continue, a no vote is a vote against that motion. It is not a score or a rating.
3-1 to table; Councilmember Taylor voted no; Councilmember Audrey Barton absent
Moved by Councilmember Wadman to table, seconded by Councilmember Wilson
From council minutes collected by The Utah Ledger; each item links to the meeting page and its official minutes.
Background
Robert Taylor's Saratoga Springs council term is listed as January 2026 to 2030. His city biography (which calls him Rob) describes more than 30 years of executive financial experience as a retired credit-union chief executive, a B.S. in Finance from the University of Nevada, Reno, past legislative-liaison work involving the Nevada and Idaho legislatures and Capitol Hill, and work as an independent Medicare insurance broker.
Saratoga Springs adopted a property tax increase in August that the city said would raise $3.1 million a year. The adopted budget ties it to police positions and part of the staffing for a future third fire station, and says it does not pay for the building.
