Audrey Barton serves on the Saratoga Springs City Council with a city-listed term of January 2024 to 2028. Her city biography describes four years of earlier service on the Planning Commission and a longer history of local volunteering, and names responsible growth, public involvement and economic development as her priorities. Priorities are her stated positions, not results.
Saratoga Springs adopted a property tax increase in August that the city said would raise $3.1 million a year. The adopted budget ties it to police positions and part of the staffing for a future third fire station, and says it does not pay for the building.
